Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of StarryNight Bot, operated by Pliexe ("StarryNight", "we", or "us"). By installing, accessing, or using StarryNight, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and authority
You must be permitted to use Discord under Discord's terms and applicable law. If you install or configure StarryNight for a server, you represent that you have authority to do so and to select the channels, roles, permissions, messages, and other configuration you provide.
The service
StarryNight provides Discord server configuration, moderation tools, leveling, virtual economy, minigames, informational commands, and related dashboard functionality. Features may be experimental, unavailable, changed, or discontinued.
Virtual currency, items, levels, and other in-bot progress have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for money, and may be reset when reasonably necessary to maintain or discontinue the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable law, Discord's terms or policies, or another person's rights.
- Use StarryNight for harassment, abuse, fraud, spam, unlawful content, or unauthorized surveillance.
- Attempt to obtain credentials, access accounts or data without authorization, or bypass permissions and security controls.
- Exploit bugs, automate abusive requests, interfere with operation, or exceed reasonable rate limits.
- Misrepresent StarryNight as endorsing content, communities, transactions, or activities that it does not endorse.
Your content and configuration
You retain responsibility for text, settings, job descriptions, moderation reasons, reports, and other material you submit. You grant us a limited permission to process and display it only as necessary to operate StarryNight. You must have the rights and authority needed to submit that material.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we process and how to request deletion. Server administrators are independently responsible for how they configure and use bot output within their communities.
Third-party services
StarryNight depends on Discord and may depend on hosting, database, or status integrations. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party availability, policy changes, or content.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using StarryNight at any time and server administrators may remove it from a server. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal duties, Discord requirements, or violations of these Terms. Data is handled after termination as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and disclaimers
StarryNight is provided on an "as available" basis without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, StarryNight and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profits, reputation, or access arising from use or unavailability of the service. This limitation does not apply where applicable law does not permit it.
Applicable law and disputes
These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that apply to you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. Disputes will be handled by courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.
Changes
We may update these Terms as StarryNight or applicable requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
